In accordance with the decision of Board Directors of Visa International held last week Xalq Bank has become an associate member of Visa International.
This membership allows Bank to issue Electron, Classic and Gold card to private customers and Business cards to employees of its corporate customers. Besides that Xalq Bank will offer to Visa cardholders ATM cash withdrawal transactions. At the moment Xalq Bank is starting to technical processes of connecting to Visa which will be finished in several months. Till the end of the current year Xalq Bank is going to issue more than 3000 Visa cards.
Xalq Bank is a member of Mastercard International payment system, from July 2007 issues and acquires MC cards. Today Bank has about 9 000 issued cards, 15 installed ATMs and 26 POSes.
